Dear Parents/Guardians,
The State of Texas recently passed new legislation that requires schools to obtain additional parental consent in several areas. We are asking all parents to please log back into the Online Parent Portal to complete the new required consent forms.
These permissions include:

• Library Access
• Health Treatment
• School Counselor Services
• Participation in Clubs & Organizations

CHISD is required to have these permissions on file by September 1st. We sincerely apologize for the late notice, but this is a state requirement.

The process should only take a few minutes per student:

1. Log into your Online Parent Portal.
2. Navigate to the RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION section.
3. Complete and sign all required permissions.
4. Be sure to click SUBMIT when finished.
5. Note: You will need to complete this process for each child enrolled.
