Welcome to Central Heights High School

At Central Heights ISD, we believe a student’s ability to learn is directly connected to their health and well-being. That’s why the CHISD Nursing Team is dedicated to protecting and improving the health of our students and staff as part of the educational process.

PaySchools Central is an online portal that gives parents convenient access to their child’s cafeteria account.

Are you being bullied, harassed, or picked on? Do you know someone else who may be? You can use this form to ANONYMOUSLY report what is going on. All reports will be kept confidential if that is what you want.

Programs of Study

High school is an exciting time to explore pathways that shape your future beyond graduation. At CHHS, our Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses provide hands-on experiences and valuable insights into various fields of study. Through our diverse programs, students have the opportunity to earn college credits, gain industry knowledge, and build a strong foundation for their careers. Whether exploring career options or pursuing certification programs, CHHS offers a wide range of CTE courses designed to prepare students for success.

  • Agriculture
    The Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (AFNR) career cluster focuses on the essential elements of life, food, water, land and air. This career cluster includes occupations ranging from farmer, rancher and veterinarian to geologist, land conservationist and florist. -Agricultural Technology & Mechanical Systems -Animal Science -Plant Science
  • Arts, A/V Technology & Communications
    Arts, Audio Visual Technology, Communication (AAVTC) career cluster focuses on designing, producing, exhibiting, performing, writing, and publishing multimedia content requiring creative aptitude, fluency in computer/tech applications, proficiency in oral and written communication. This career cluster includes occupations ranging from camera operator, audio and video technician, director, and producer to graphic designer and web and digital interface designer. -Graphic Design -Interactive Media
  • Arts & Humanities
    Our Arts & Humanities program at Central Heights High School offers students a creative and enriching experience through Band, Art, and Theater. These courses allow students to express themselves, develop their talents, and build confidence while exploring the world of music, visual arts, and performance.     The Education and Training career cluster focuses on planning, managing, and providing education and training services and related learning support services.     The Health Science career cluster focuses on planning, managing, and providing therapeutic services, diagnostics services, health informatics, support services, and biotechnology research and development. This career cluster includes occupations ranging from medical assistant, registered nurse, and physical therapist to forensic science technician and athletic trainer. -Diagnostic & Therapeutic Services -Exercise Science & Wellness

    The Human Services career cluster focuses on preparing individuals for employment in career pathways that relate to families and human needs, such as counseling and mental health services, family and community services, personal care services, and consumer services.
