🎭 Blue Devils! It's time to gear up for auditions. This fall we will be performing the play AIRNESS by Chelsea Marcantel.  If you are interested in auditioning, please read the information below and complete the form with your parents. Students must sign-up for auditions using the google form below.

Play Summary: When Nina enters her first air guitar competition, she thinks winning will be easy. But as she befriends a group of charismatic nerds all committed to becoming the next champion, she discovers that there's more to this art form than playing pretend; it's about finding yourself in your favorite songs, and performing with raw joy. Will Nina be able to let go and set herself free onstage? Following her mission to shred or be shredded, Airness is an exuberant reminder that everything we need to rock is already inside us. A comedy about competition, completion, and finding the airness inside yourself. 

When are auditions? There are two chances to audition. Wednesday August 27th and Thursday August 28th. Both auditions take place after school. If you cannot make either day, please contact Mr. Owen to schedule an audition for another day/time.  

Who can audition? Anyone at Central Heights High School can audition. You do not need to be in a theatre class to audition.

When are performances? November 14 - 16. 

Do I need to prepare anything for auditions? No. We will do cold readings of scenes from the play. 

Can I read the play before auditions? Yes! Copies can be picked up from Mr. Owen when school starts.
