Blue Devil Volleyball competes at Regional Tournament

Blue Devil volleyball earned a spot to play at the Texas 3A UIL Regional Tournament on Friday, November 11th & Saturday, November 12th in Athens, Texas. On Friday, the Lady Blue Devils matched up against Grandview where they took the WIN in 5 sets.

Set 1: CH 11 - GV 25, Set 2: CH 25 - GV 12, Set 3: CH 18 - GV 25, Set 4: CH 25 - GV 23, Set 5: CH 15 - GV 9. The Lady Blue Devils were crowned as the Regional Semi-Final Champions. 

They returned in action the next day against East Bernard. Sadly, the ladies took a tough loss in 3 sets: Set 1: CH 22 - EB 25, Set 2: CH 18 - EB 25, Set 3: CH 21 - EB 25. 

This season has been one for the books! Blue Devil Volleyball ends the season with an overall record of 41-9 and an undefeated district season 10-0. Your Blue Devils end the season with so many team titles. Individual awards will be posted soon.

CH Volleyball was 1 of 8 teams still left standing in the final round of the Regional Tournament, out of 128 schools in division 3A across the state of Texas! What an amazing accomplishment! We are so proud of this team! The ladies played with heart non-stop, they left it all on the court! They never gave up, they continued to fight and fight until the last point had been scored. They played all season with enthusiasm, grace, sportsmanship and teamwork! 

Congratulations to the Blue Devil Volleyball players and coaches! What an exciting ride this season was and we are looking forward to next year! Special shout out to the Blue Devil fans, students and adults, you played a HUGE part in this season's success!
